Maelstrom native observer closeout — 2026-10-24

PASS: one retained-module native execution qualifies the unchanged observer from candidate 8aebece6f8598d0018b621dbe4aa09753fa28193, recovered from immutable backup 70be6b842ae46397a052706a9029c52adbc90eea. No original-game attribution, guest, compilation or test box.

The independent oracle review preceded execution. OFF uses 0x7a3c62/0x7a3c66 and ON uses 0x7a3362/0x7a3366; both assert zero starting counts. Fourteen lane states match after address normalization. Pending yield executes no original MOV/CALL and creates no decoded stores; clearing yield executes MOV/CALL/RET with restored ESP. The final interior count is two because set_bp preserves bp_skip_once. OFF consumes its final skip under pending yield before ON. The observer emits fourteen records, bounded to six boundary pairs, sixteen records and 8192 bytes; accepted independent mutation/run-count controls establish observation-only behavior.

The historical producer assertion expecting one remains FAIL in the retained accounted-review evidence. The corrected native fixture is unchanged; there was no correction or second execution in this task. Prior capacity rejections remain historical and are not reclassified.

Exact code Git blobs/SHA256 and module/runner/exports identities are in pins.json and merged-binding.json. Native stdout, exact argv, kernel limits, reaping and fresh resource admission are retained beside this report. Fixed 512MiB shared arena, 512MiB Node heap, CPU90s/wall60s, output131072 and per-file24MiB applied; shared heavy lock held. Projected owned peak64MiB includes checkout16, external8, SQLite4, evidence4, future24 and reserve8 MiB; disk admits a further64MiB and floor2982150144. Standing installed inputs are read-only and were not copied. Redundant alternate metadata was removed before runtime, preserving bookkeeping history under /tmp/maelstrom-native-recovered-closeout-oct24/ops.

Serialized integration starts at verified remote main ead371ce5d95f4a5b181944c70b08102f4bb9986 and imports only explicit observer, tests and associated review paths, without donor ancestry. The unchanged accepted cheap suite and 24 rejecting controls were reused before native execution; both also pass on the exact merged code tree. Native evidence is reused there by exact four-file and standing-input identity. Publication refs are independently checked and recorded in ops/publication.json and append-only messageboard.

Original game zero-target cause, EDI/errno and gameplay remain UNKNOWN. No box allocated; coordinator lifecycle unchanged. Root tracked files/index/refs and immutable donors remain read-only. Git recovery depends on standing alternates; committed content is remotely backed up on the task branch and accepted main after verified publication.
